Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office To Launch Overnight DUI Saturation Patrols

Residents and motorists in Palm Beach County should expect a heightened police presence this week as the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) launches a targeted enforcement initiative aimed at curbing impaired driving. The PBSO Traffic Division announced plans to deploy additional officers on the roads overnight to crack down on drunk drivers. Read more at BocaVibe.com.

The effort, dubbed “Operation: Zero Tolerance,” will see specially trained officers patrolling the roads in unmarked vehicles, looking for signs of impairment such as erratic driving, speeding, and failure to follow traffic laws. The goal is to identify and apprehend drivers who are operating under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

According to PBSO officials, impaired driving is a major public safety concern in Palm Beach County. In 2025, there were over 1,000 arrests for DUI-related offenses, resulting in numerous injuries and fatalities on the roads.
