This beginner-friendly program is designed for those who are new to kayaking or need a refresher course. Our expert instructors will guide you through the basics of paddling, navigating shallow waters, and learning about the unique mangrove and estuary ecosystems of South Florida.
What to Expect
- Shallow water exploration: Paddle through the calm waters of the Intracoastal and get a glimpse into the diverse marine life that calls this ecosystem home.
- Mangrove trail adventure: Learn about the unique characteristics of mangroves and explore their winding trails, teeming with wildlife and fascinating plant species.
- Kayak handling basics: Develop your paddling skills and learn how to maneuver a kayak in a safe and controlled environment.
Our single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available, ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to enjoy the experience. However, please note that participants must be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance.
