This introductory kayaking session is designed for those who are new to the sport or need a refresher course. Our expert instructors will guide you through the basics of kayaking, teaching you how to maneuver your kayak with confidence and ease. You’ll have the opportunity to paddle through shallow waters along the edge of the Intracoastal, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mangrove forests and estuary ecosystems.
As a beginner, it’s essential to start with the basics. Our program covers topics such as:
- Paddling techniques
- Kayak safety and etiquette
- Mangrove ecosystem exploration
- Estuary conservation
Our single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t worry if you’re not comfortable getting in and out of the kayak – our instructors will provide assistance and support throughout the program.
