Are you new to kayaking and feeling a bit uncertain about navigating through mangrove trails? This program is designed specifically for those who want to build their confidence and skills while enjoying the beautiful scenery of South Florida’s estuaries. Our expert instructors will guide you through the shallow waters along the Intracoastal, teaching you how to maneuver your kayak with ease.
During this 1.5-hour program, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Get familiar with your kayak and learn basic paddling techniques
- Explore the mangrove ecosystem and learn about its importance in maintaining a healthy environment
- Enjoy the stunning views of the Intracoastal and surrounding landscape
To participate, you’ll need to be comfortable getting in and out of a kayak without assistance. Single and double kayaks will be assigned to couples or groups as available.
