About the Program
This beginner-friendly program is designed for those who are new to kayaking or need a refresher course. Our expert instructors will guide you through the basics of paddling, navigation, and safety on the water. You’ll have the opportunity to get comfortable maneuvering a kayak while taking in the stunning views of the mangrove trails and estuary ecosystems of South Florida.
What to Expect
- Shallow waters along the edge of the Intracoastal for a gentle introduction to kayaking
- Expert instruction on paddling, navigation, and safety on the water
- Guided tour of the mangrove trails and estuary ecosystems of South Florida
- Single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available
Requirements
To participate in this program, you must be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance. Don’t worry if you’re not sure – our instructors will provide support and guidance every step of the way.
