In just two months’ time, all eyes of the international sporting world will be fixed on Miami for FIFA World Cup 2026. To celebrate South Florida’s central role in the world’s most popular sport, the Cultural Council is unveiling an exciting new exhibit that explores sports through the palettes, cameras, chisels, and imaginations of local artists.
“Kinetic Energy,” which hosts its opening reception this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and runs through June 12, is presented in partnership with the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, and covers a wide variety of athletic endeavors and individual art styles.

- Anna Villa from Boca Raton – Realistic portraits of athletes in action
