In celebration of its centennial in 2025, Boca Raton hosted an extensive yearlong programming series, which included exhibits, collaborations with local hotels, nonprofits, and cultural institutions. Some of the notable events and initiatives that took place during this time include:

- Exhibits showcasing the city’s history and culture
- A centennial celebration featuring a partnership with Prosperity Brewers to launch a special ale
- A new sign at Sanborn Square, a popular public space in the heart of downtown Boca Raton

According to a comprehensive impact study conducted by the city, the programming had a significant effect on the community:
- 76.5 percent of Boca Raton’s residents were aware of the programming
- 2 million Florida residents outside of Boca Raton were also aware of the programming
- 44,000 residents attended at least one event or activity as part of the centennial celebrations
