The award is named after the Spanish word for “prosperity” and is intended to honor those who have contributed to the growth and development of the region.
Boca Raton’s centennial programming was widely praised by local residents and visitors alike, and the city’s efforts are being recognized with a nomination for the Providencia Award. The award will be presented at an upcoming ceremony, where the winner will be announced.
