Area Students Honored With Holocaust Education Awards
Boca Raton, FL – Florida Atlantic University has recognized high school and middle school students from across Florida as winners of the Craig and Barbara Weiner Holocaust Reflection Contest. The initiative, sponsored by FAU’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, aims to educate young people about the importance of understanding and remembering the Holocaust. The following students from Boca Raton have been recognized for their outstanding work:

- Jacob Levy, an 11th grader at Spanish River High School, took second place in the essay category with his essay “The Holocaust: A Lesson in Humanity.”
- David Kim, a 9th grader at Boca Raton High School, won first place in the poetry category with his poem “Echoes of the Past.”
