Are you new to kayaking or feeling a bit uncertain about navigating through wild, winding mangrove trails? This program is designed specifically for those who want to build their confidence and comfort in the kayak. Our expert instructors will guide you through the shallow waters of the Intracoastal, teaching you about the unique mangrove and estuary ecosystems of South Florida.
During this 1.5-hour session, you’ll have the opportunity to get familiar with your single or double kayak, learning essential paddling techniques and safety guidelines. Our goal is not only to help you become a confident kayaker but also to foster a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty of our surroundings.
Before joining us, please note that you should be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance. We’ll provide all necessary equipment, including single or double kayaks, life jackets, and paddles.
