Boca Raton, FL – Florida Atlantic University has recognized high school and middle school students from across Florida as winners of the Craig and Barbara Weiner Holocaust Reflection Contest, an initiative sponsored by FAU’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters. Read more at BocaVibe.com.

Winners from Boca Raton
- Emily Chen, a senior at Spanish River High School, won first place in the high school category for her essay “The Unseen Victims of the Holocaust”.
- David Lee, a junior at Boca Raton High School, took second place in the high school category for his essay “The Importance of Holocaust Education”.
- Mason Brown, an eighth-grader at Spanish River Middle School, won first place in the middle school category for his poem “A Voice for the Voiceless”.
- Julia Kim, a seventh-grader at Boca Raton Middle School, took second place in the middle school category for her essay “The Power of Education”.
The winners were selected from a pool of over 100 entries from across Florida, and will receive awards and recognition at an upcoming ceremony.
