Boca Raton in the Running for Providencia Award for Centennial Programming

In celebration of its centennial in 2025, Boca Raton hosted an extensive year-long programming series that brought together area hotels, nonprofits, and cultural institutions to showcase the city’s rich history and culture. The program included a range of exciting events and activities, such as:

- Collaboration with Prosperity Brewers to launch a centennial ale
- A new sign at Sanborn Square

- 76.5 percent of Boca Raton’s residents were aware of the programming
- 2 million Florida residents outside of Boca Raton were also aware of the programming
- 44,000 residents attended at least one event during the centennial celebration
