This hands-on introduction is perfect for those new to kayaking who want to build confidence and get comfortable navigating the shallow waters of South Florida’s mangrove trails. Our expert guides will provide a safe and supportive environment for you to learn and grow, while enjoying the stunning scenery along the way.
What to Expect
- Learn about the mangrove and estuary ecosystems of South Florida
- Get familiar with kayaking techniques and safety guidelines
- Explore the shallow waters of the Intracoastal, including its winding trails and hidden coves
- Paddle alongside our expert guides who will provide guidance and support throughout the program
Our single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available, ensuring a fun and social experience for all participants. Don’t worry if you’re not sure what to expect – our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to answer any questions and provide assistance whenever needed.
Requirements
To participate in this program, you must be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance. This is an essential requirement for your safety and the success of the program.
